Take the District Line to Putney Bridge station, turn left out of the station, walk up to Fulham High Street/Putney Bridge. Cross over the bridge to Putney. St Mary's Church will be on your left, turn left and follow the path back beyond the church. The Rocket will be directly in front of you.

The following London Bus routes pass through Putney High Street: 14, 39, 85, 93, 220, 270, 430. Walk down the High Street towards the River Thames.
